After a shooting that occurred Friday afternoon, a New Jersey police officer was hurt and the suspect is dead.
According to FOX 29, the shooting took place in Deptford, New Jersey, Friday afternoon at 1 p.m.
Sources said that shots broke out at a dead end in a residential area.
Cooper University Hospital is treating the officer who is currently in critical condition.
According to the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, there is no threat or danger to the public.
