Schumer Fantasizes About Trump Dumping JD Vance, Graham Shuts It Down Instantly

The Left has a new narrative about the Republican ticket for the presidential election: They are weird!

Jake Tapper, CNN’s State of the Union Sunday host, said that Tim Walz was the one who started this new strategy. Before the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump two weeks prior, Democrats had been ranting against the Republican candidate as an “existential threat to democracy” and the rest. Walz said that while he still believes in fear-mongering statements made by Trump, he was disturbed when Trump talked about “shocking” sharks and the fictional antagonist character, Hannibal Lector, at rallies.

Walz is perhaps the person to thank for the recent (sort of) turn that has been popping up in the Sunday Show circuit amongst other Kamala-Harris surrogates and Democrats. Chuck Schumer, the Senate Majority Leader (D-NY), was one of them. He sat with CBS’s “Face The Nation” and yelled this garbage at Americans about Trump’s running mate Senator JDVance (ROH):

The senator, after praising to Heaven the Biden-Harris record, takes on an ominous note as he compares it to the “Trump-Vance ticket”.

It’s extreme. Project 2025 shows that we are taking away the rights of women and working people and helping only the wealthy. This would be a serious threat to democracy.

The New York legislator was there to smear Vance, and he concocted a fantasy of Donald Trump in the hope that he could now find an excuse to drop him from the GOP ticket.

“Vance appears to be more erratic, more extreme, than President Trump. I’ll bet that President Trump is scratching his head, wondering why he chose this guy.” Schumer spoke on “Face the Nation”, on Sunday.

The New York Democrat who works with Vance on the Senate called adding Vance to their ticket “incredibly bad” for Republicans. She suggested that Trump might change his mind within the next few days.

“He’s got a choice – does he keep Vance in the race?” Schumer suggested that Vance’s baggage could make the ticket heavier. “Or is he going to pick someone else?” It’s up to him.”

If you’re able to stomach it, you can watch Schumer create the scenario above. I wouldn’t recommend this. This next clip is more enjoyable. It features the GOP guest that followed him, Sen. Lindsey Graham.

Graham seemed to enjoy the opportunity to wipe out the dishonest whispering campaign that progressives have waged against Vance ever since Trump tapped him. The host asked Vance if he was making a mistake by “continuing to talk about Americans without children in a national election.”

Let’s just say that he was not having it. He told the CBS News chief election and political correspondent Robert Costa how ridiculous this line of questioning is:

Watch:

Watch this clip where Graham tries to keep his mouth shut when asked by the host about Trump’s claim that Christians will not have to vote after this election cycle. Costa’s expression of astonishment at Graham’s laughter is pleasing.

It is a great answer. You can only hope that Graham will be used across the country regularly to promote the positive family-oriented message of the Trump campaign (and Vance now).

I have a feeling that the Left’s alleged new concerns about Vance’s strangeness are more motivated by money than marriage and cat-herding.

It’s not bad for a weirdo from the Buckeye State.
