Tucker Carlson is not a friend of Adam Schiff, and that was made clear on Friday night via social media.
Schiff attacked Carlson in what I would describe as a delusional rant. He called him a “weak person” who values money and notoriety more than truth and decency. It’s a shameful display of self-awareness, which is a big deal in politics.
I’ve got one question: Has Adam Schiff met Adam Schiff? Maybe I can arrange a meeting?
Notable is the fact that Schiff was expelled from the House Intelligence Committee for lying and leaking material to gain political favors. You may also recall, that Schiff was the main pusher for the Russian collusion hoax. He promoted the notion that Russia “stole” the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton.
Schiff kept spreading these election lies even after it became obvious that there was no evidence, not even Robert Mueller. The California congressman claimed for years that he had evidence showing that Trump was conspiring with Russia. That claim has never been fulfilled.
Schiff, the then-head of the intel committee released the House Russian collusion investigation transcripts only in mid 2020. They showed the exact opposite of what Schiff claimed they showed. There was no evidence to support the theory.
However, Schiff did not stop his lies from being told. Trump’s first impeachment was also based on Schiff’s belief that a whistleblower, almost certainly Alexander Vindman, had come forward unhindered. Schiff claimed that his office never had met with the whistleblower. This was false.
You would say that this is the behavior of a weak man. You could also discuss Schiff’s fear-mongering about a range of topics, including Russian collusion and climate change. But I think I have made my point. He is a huge hypocrite and lies regularly for political ends. I think he should not be calling out Tucker Carlson, or anyone else.
Carlson also did not lie about the 2020 election to his audience. He actually got into a public spat with Sidney Powell over her refusal to prove her voter fraud claims. Carlson was skeptical at best. His claims about 2020 centered largely on the FBI’s proven scheme to suppress negative press about Joe Biden (i.e. The laptop of Hunter Biden.
This is better than Schiff’s attempt to spread a lie on TV and via the governmental power of Congress. Both of these things are far more dangerous than either.
