Kamala Harris is trying to get voters to vote for Kamala Harris, but she hasn’t answered any questions or offered them any policies. This is insulting to voters. She thinks that people will forget about her failures in the current administration if she just makes empty statements.

Kamala’s biggest failure has been Bidenomics, and her failure to understand inflation or even address it. Price controls, one of her only “policies”, was ridiculed as soon as it was announced. This shows that she does not understand inflation.

Biden also didn’t get it. They believe that inflation is the fault of everyone but themselves. They blame greedy corporations. Many have called her proposal a warmed-over version of Communism.

CNBC’s Joe Kernen has just destroyed Harris’ argument in a spirited debate with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-MA who adopted Harris’ position. Kernen noted that, in a free country at least, it’s not up to the government to determine prices and that grocery stores make only a 2 percent profit. You can see more of this conversation in the X post.

Kernan stated that it was not the place of government to handle such matters. It’s a foolish errand.

He claimed that the Democrats are trying to use the issue to distract from the “real” cause of inflation. He said that it was “juiced up” from the Inflation Reduction Act, and “all other spending [government] did.”

Warren said that price gouging by companies was one of the causes of inflation. He asked her to provide an example. She became angry instead. Kernan ridiculed the position by asking why companies did not know how to gouge prices three and a half years ago, before the current administration. He pointed out that inflation is at its highest level in 40 years under Biden and Harris.

Exactly. The evil companies have somehow become evil under the Dems [sarcasm], another reason to not vote for them.

Warren responded by saying that there were many other reasons why prices increased, but refused to admit that the Biden-Harris expenditure was responsible. She claimed that companies were price gouging under the cover inflation. Kernan cut her off, saying that was not what the issue was, and that it wasn’t about that. They can’t do this because it isn’t a monopoly, and their prices are dictated by the market. You can see him look off camera, and appear to laugh at her insanity.

Warren has a complete delusion that she is making a valid point. Harris and her argument are both being destroyed. She said to him, “If you do not want to pay attention,” in an attempt to correct him. Senator, it’s not you who isn’t paying attention to numbers.

Warren said that Americans understood they were being ripped off. “Who is to blame for this?” Kernan sat down and got to the core of the issue. Warren said that “these giant corporations are to blame” for the situation.

Kernan corrected Kernan. “No, the Biden administration is to blame.” Kernan corrected her. She insisted that it was the corporations’ fault.

Greedy corporations don’t cause inflation. Even media outlets like WaPo noted that price controls could make things worse and lead to shortages.

Harris and Warren, however, are not economic experts.
