I was not sure that they would be able given the stubbornness of Joe and Jill Biden.
Once Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama began working together on this issue, it was only a question of time before they worked out a “deal” in the background. His campaign was doomed by the donors’ withdrawal. What I would like to find out is if they offered a sweetener to convince him to leave, or if it was just threats of embarrassment that caused him to make his decision.
In his letter, announcing the announcement of his decision, he praised Kamala Harris without endorsing her. He then posted a tweet showing his support. Jill must have found that bitter. Several joked that he knew he was endorsing Kamala because it was in the letter. It’s absurd that this is done through a written letter when his last comments on live television were about wanting to remain in. This is beyond absurd.
As many have noted, this is the real attack on “democracy.” In the primaries, 14 million people voted. Biden was then backed by the elites despite his coherence problems. After the disastrous debate, they decided to throw him out of the race because they believed he would lose. This is not how our system works; it would be pushing the 14,000,000 votes to one side so that the political elites could force a candidate upon us at their August convention — and this might not be Kamala. They don’t give a damn about what voters think, or the fact that they rejected Kamala as a presidential candidate in 2020. They wouldn’t be putting him forward now if they cared about his health.
They didn’t reveal this to the public and even attacked people who did, accusing them of cheap fakes.

Anyone still arguing Trump is a threat to democracy is a joke. Democrats just wiped out their entire primary system to replace their candidate with roughly 3,000 party elites voting. The will of their primary voters didn’t matter at all. They staged an actual insurrection.

At his rally yesterday, Donald Trump, the former president, spoke out about how absurd it was to claim that he was “a threat to democracy.” He noted that Trump had received a “bullet” for democracy from someone who I believe it is safe to assume didn’t like him running.
