We covered the lies that George Santos, Republican Rep.-elect, told us about his past. These lies have left the left frantic to find a way for Santos to be removed from his seat.
We noted that it was hard to take their fury at Santos seriously, especially when they don’t seem to care about Joe Biden, the serial fabulist in chief, as we have already said.
Chris Hayes from MSNBC is a good example.
Hayes attempted to draw a distinction between Joe Biden’s case and the Santos case.
I think Santos is a total embarrassment and has no place in public life. But a lot of folks on this site dinging him seem to have forgotten how much both the current president and his predecessor “embellished” about their accomplishments.

Hayes stated that he believes there is a line between “normal” politicians [sic] lying and conmen serially lying. He has infractions on both sides of that line. “It would have been quite a big deal if Joe Biden had a law degree!
Hayes is joking? Joe Biden has been telling so many lies that it would be a challenge for Santos to catch up with him. Biden has been lying for decades. Joe Biden is the only person I know of who has made up as many false stories about himself. This has been his hallmark throughout his entire career. Because everyone knew that he was full of butter, he was not taken seriously. Joe Biden was not a lawyer, although he may have earned a degree in law. These lies date back to 1987, his first presidential run. He was convicted of plagiarizing in law school. He received a failing grade in the course and had to repeat it because he used large portions of an article from another author without proper citation. He lied about his scholarship, his degrees, his standing in class when it was at the bottom, and his claim of being an outstanding student in political science.

He was still plagiarising speeches from other politicians in 1987 without credit. His plagiarism of Neil Kinnock, an Irish politician, was so terrible that he even lied to his family. Biden claimed that he was his first family member to “go to college” because Kinnock had said it. Biden’s grandfather was a university graduate. Biden recently lied about his grandfather being named All-American. Joe, which one was it, Joe? Were you the first person in your family to attend university, or was it your grandfather? When lies meet other lies.
In 1987, lying was still important, but the media wasn’t entirely in the pockets of the Democrats. Journalists sometimes would report the truth. When Democrats wanted to defeat President Donald Trump in 2020, they were willing to overlook Biden’s life of lies and buffoonery and rebrand him “fatherly moderate”, which was another lie. Biden’s lies have continued. It’s only gotten worse, with Biden’s mental deterioration becoming more severe. He repeatedly claimed he was a full professor, which means he had to teach and do scholarly research. None of this he accomplished. He wasn’t a full professor. Instead, he was paid a lot of money to simply walk onto campus to speak about his book and to be a guest lecturer.
Joe Biden’s lies are not just “normal” political b.s.ing, but they go beyond that. His lies extend to his entire administration now, including claiming he’s been to Mexico’s border (he hasn’t), and embellishing the number of “created” jobs — claiming over 1,000,000 jobs were created for the second quarter. Now, Chris Hayes, the media, ignore these lies. They don’t hold Biden responsible, even though it hurts the American people. Biden keeps going, knowing that he can get away without being caught. Because they are pure Democratic operatives, it’s no surprise that Hayes and liberal media have lost their credibility. Hayes continues to gaslight us with his tweet.
