JD Vance, the GOP’s vice presidential candidate, called out Kamala Harriman for her promise to fix important election issues if she wins in November. This is despite Harris having been in office for over three and a half years.

Vance, on “The Ingraham Angle” Tuesday, said: “This is the lie that lies at the core of Kamala’s campaign. She’s going to change if she’s elected. Her policies have led to higher food and grocery prices as well as a wide-open southern border.”

“If Kamala Harris believes these policies will do a great deal of good – and most of them are absurd – she should test them now because she is currently in office. She shouldn’t promise to do anything in the future when she is in office that she doesn’t do when she is in office today.”

CNN’s Dana Bash asked Harris, in her first sit-down interview after becoming the Democratic Presidential nominee, why certain proposals were not implemented during her tenure as president.

She said that the economy had to recover, and it has. She referred to the work done by the Biden-Harris Administration since the COVID-19 Pandemic to restore jobs and reduce inflation.

She added, “There’s still more work to be done but this is good work.”

Harris outlined her economic agenda at a rally held in North Carolina in mid-August. She proposed a $25,000 subsidy to first-time buyers, a plan to fix the price of food and grocery items, and a child tax credit of $6,000 for families with newborns in their first year.

As president, I’ll tackle the costs that are most important to Americans, such as the price of food. “We all know prices rose during the pandemic when supply chains failed and shut down. But our supply chains are now better and prices remain too high,” she stated at the event.

At a rally held in Pennsylvania, former president Trump criticized Harris’ economic plan, saying that it would lead to “rationing and hunger, as well as skyrocketing costs.”

“Comrade Kamala has announced that she would like to implement socialist price controls. “You saw that it never worked before — ever, never worked,” he said.

Vance said to Laura Ingraham, Fox News host, that Harris’ economic platform boils down “to pro-globalism and anti-American worker.”

The Ohio Senator also discussed his low favorability ratings among voters in comparison to his Democratic opponent Tim Walz.

According to the average polling results of FiveThirtyEight, 44% have an unfavorable view, and 34% have a positive opinion.

He said, “I’m going to go out and meet as many people as I can. And, I know that Donald Trump is doing the same thing.” “We don’t scripted stuff. We don’t just speak to a teleprompter. We like to give unscripted comments, hold press conferences, and just talk to people. “I’m going keep doing that.”

Vance continued, “I don’t place much weight in polls. Even those that show us leading, which are many these days.” “I put my faith in the wisdom of Americans and that they will elect Donald Trump and me if we get out and make our case. Don’t hide behind the teleprompter. I am sure of it. “We have 65 days left to complete our work.”
