According to multiple sources, there’s breaking information on former president Donald Trump’s Manhattan Trial.

Juan Merchan, who is overseeing the criminal trial of former President Donald Trump in New York City notified a Manhattan prosecutor and the 45th president’s attorney that there was another twist, which could be significant, following the verdict on May 30, finding Trump guilty of all 34 counts for falsifying records.

In a June 7 letter, Judge Merchan wrote to Trump Attorney Todd Blanche and ADA Joshua Steinglass:

Dear Counsel:

The Court was made aware today of a comment posted on Unified Court System’s public Facebook page, which I bring to your notice. The user “Michael Anderson” states in the comment:

“My cousin, who is a jury member, says that Trump will be convicted…Thanks to all of you for your hard work !!!!”

The comment is now labeled “one week old” and was a response to a routine UCS notification posted on May 29, 2020 regarding oral arguments at the Fourth Department of the Appellate Division, which had nothing to do with this proceeding. The posting, entitled “The Appellate Division, Fourth Department, will hear oral arguments this morning at 10,” and the comment are both viewable at https://www.facebook.com/NewYorkCourts/.

Brown pointed out that it is unclear if the commenter had any connection to the New York jurors, but this has not yet been confirmed.
