The calendar of former first lady Michelle Obama is filled with events for Vice-President Kamala Harris, as she prepares to launch her campaign in Michigan next week.
The former first lady of the United States has been conspicuously missing from the Harris campaign. Former President Barack Obama is becoming increasingly involved. The Harris campaign has announced that she will appear with Harris on Saturday, October 26, in Michigan.
This will be her very first public appearance since August when she spoke at the Democratic National Convention.
Her husband will also increase his campaigning efforts for Harris. He has solo events scheduled in Tucson, Las Vegas, and Madison. He will be in Georgia with Harris on Thursday.
Michelle Obama will attend an Atlanta rally after the Michigan rally. The rally is hosted by When We All Vote. She founded this group in 2018 to encourage voter participation.
According to a recent NBC News article, Michelle Obama’s absence on the campaign trail was due to concerns over her safety.
