Two friends from Brookville in Ohio have been found by New Mexico authorities. They were briefly missing from their resort vacation.

Robyn Bodine (46), and Tracie Shoe (52) were on vacation in Truth or Consequences, a small town in southwest New Mexico. This was formerly Hot Springs, New Mexico before a contest for radio station names prompted the change.
Brookville police reported that authorities found the friends in an “extremely remote” area of Catron County, New Mexico.
Bodine’s and Shoes’ families couldn’t get in touch with them Tuesday after they checked out of a resort.
They were on vacation at Riverbed Hot Springs, Truth or Consequences, a resort boasting it is the “only hot springs resort along the Rio Grande”.
Tripadvisor has given the resort a rating of 4.5 stars and Google a rating of 4.6. According to the resort website, rooms are priced between $250 and $330 per evening.
“Police everywhere have been reached, airports searched, records searched,” said the Truth or Consequences Police Department in a Wednesday Facebook posting, relaying a message from women’s families. “Nothing is giving any help. We’ve exhausted all our efforts. I just wanted to share this with you in the hope that it might be of some benefit.
