On May 13, a child died in Ukraine after accidentally strangling herself inside an inflatable Trampoline.
Police said that the incident occurred when the 4-year-old child was playing on a trampoline inflatable at a children’s amusement park in Mykolaiv in Ukraine and “became caught” in the loops.
Serhii Shaikhet, the chief of regional police, stated that the child had died from suffocation.
In connection with this incident, the 45-year-old owner of the trampoline inflatable was arrested.
Natalia Kuchynska, who was about to become the godmother of the 4-year-old girl, told Ukrainian news outlet TSN that three employees were on their phones when the incident happened.
Kuchynska reported, Three girls were assigned to supervise the children while they played on the trampolines. Instead, the girls sat facing away from the trampolines and were looking at their phones.
Kuchynska stated that the child was initially saved, but later declared dead.
