Encino, a posh LA neighborhood, has been a hotspot of robberies and home invasions.

I am sure that former USC and NFL player Reggie Bush must not have felt that way. His home was invaded the same night by 3 thugs in black. Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush was at home but said that “Everyone” is safe.

Bush, who heard a window being broken and yelled at the burglars to scare them off, is reported to have heard a window smashed.

Los Angeles Police Dept. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that officers responded around 11 pm to a burglary report on Encino Street where Bush lives. LAPD Officer Charles Miller reported that a resident in the house had heard a window breaking and found broken glass outside. There was nothing stolen.

Miller stated that the suspects had been dressed in black, and they left the scene before the police arrived in a white cross-over vehicle. Miller stated that a report was taken, and West Valley detectives are currently conducting an investigation.

Bush’s career was storied:

Bush was a running back star at USC between 2003 and 2005. He won the Heisman award in 2005 and helped the Trojans win the Associated Press National Championship in 2003 and 2004, and the BCS title for 2004. He spent 11 NFL seasons, winning the Super Bowl in 2009 with the New Orleans Saints.

Democrats and their media cronies continue to try to convince everyone that crime has decreased and that progressive policies such as “defunding the police”, cashless bail, and soft-on criminal prosecutions are not to blame for the perception that lawlessness is prevalent in many large cities. As any resident of Chicago or Los Angeles, Seattle, New York City, or even Aurora, CO can tell you, these bogus stats don’t reflect the truth. Reggie Bush is no longer a rarity in Los Angeles. It’s only his fame that makes it news.

Reggie Bush’s story, however, reveals – yet again – that progressive policies do not work.
