The former president Donald Trump spoke about the Georgia school shootings during a Fox News town hall event, in a battleground state. He promised to “heal our planet” if elected again.

“It is a sick, angry world. We’re going to make it better. We are going to heal the world. Trump told the New Holland Arena audience in Harrisburg on Wednesday that he would “get rid of these wars which are starting everywhere because of incompetence”.

Sean Hannity of Fox News, who moderated this town hall, cited the tragic shooting that occurred in Barrow County in Georgia on Wednesday at a local high school as well as tight security around Trump’s events after the July assassination.

“We hope to do very well. “I believe we’re going to be very set up to do an excellent job,” Trump said.

Around 10 am, a 14-year-old suspect named Colt Gray shot and killed at least four people. Officials confirmed that the four victims were two students and a teacher.

The shooting left nine others injured.

“Within minutes law enforcement and two school resource officers were on the scene,” Barrow County Sherriff Jud Smith said during a Wednesday afternoon press conference.

“As soon as they met the subject, he immediately surrendered and was taken into custody.”

According to Smith, Gray, a high school student, will be charged as an adult with murder.

Trump visited Pennsylvania, a key battleground in the presidential election, on Wednesday to hold a town hall. He has less than a week until he returns to Keystone State to debate Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday.
