At a rally held in North Carolina, a battleground state, former president Trump shared a touching moment with his grandkids.

While speaking at a rally in Wilmington, the Republican candidate brought his grandchildren Luke and Carolina onto the podium. Luke and Carolina Trump, the children of Eric Trump and Lara Trump, are on stage.

“We also have…a member of my family who is very important.” Trump joked with the audience that she was far more important than Eric and Lara. “And her name’s Carolina.”

“And she is beautiful, she’s sweet, and she doesn’t realize how evil the world can be,” he said. “Can I get Carolina to come out?” “Is it possible?”

Trump returned to the podium moments later with his 5-year-old granddaughter and took her up to the microphone.

Carolina, confused between “America” and “American”, said: “Make American great again.”

The crowd roared with excitement before Trump invited Luke on stage and introduced him.

“Would anyone like to meet Luke? Luke, come up! “, the Republican said before picking his grandson up and bringing him to the podium.

Luke, a 7-year-old boy, shouted to the crowd, “Vote Grandpa,” which was loudly applauded. Trump said that he asked Luke to say something different.

“I whispered into his ear, so cute, I said, ‘Say MAGA,’” the presidential candidate said. “He said, ‘Vote for grandpa.’”

“He didn’t listen to what I said, and that was much better.”

Trump continued his speech by mentioning that his daughter-in-law Lara was born and raised in North Carolina. He then went on to criticize his opponent, Kamala Harris. Trump had earlier in the rally stressed the importance of getting the Tar Heel State out to vote.

Trump said that he would win North Carolina in 45 days. Trump said, “We are going to defeat Kamala and make America great again.”
