Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, said that he had been “tricked” by a Tesla representative into consenting to his child’s puberty-blocking medication. He also believes that “the woke-mind virus” has figuratively murdered his son.
Musk made this comment during an interview on Monday with Dr. Jordan Peterson. He was asked what he thought about doctors performing sex-change procedures on children. Both Musk and Peterson called the practice “evil.” Musk stated that his son Xavier’s experience, now known as Vivian Jenna Wilson (or Xavier), opened his eyes to the “woke mind virus” that he has vowed to destroy.
“It happened with one of my older sons, where I was essentially duped into signing documents on behalf of one of my older boys, Xavier. It was before I understood what was happening. A lot was going on with COVID-19, and there was a great deal of confusion. I was told that Xavier would commit suicide if he didn’t …” Musk said to Peterson.
Peterson interrupted, “That was a blatant lie from the beginning.”
Musk replied, “This is a terrible thing and I agree that those who have promoted it should be sent to prison.”
Musk claimed that he was not informed about the fact that “actually, sterilization drugs” are used to block puberty when he consented to his son’s treatment. He said the phrase “gender-affirming health care” was a “terrible metaphor.”
“I basically lost my child,” Musk explained that deadnaming is called for a good reason. The reason deadnaming exists is that your son has died. “My son Xavier was killed by the woke-mind virus.”
A study published by the Mayo Clinic earlier this year concluded that puberty blockers can cause long-term problems with fertility in boys. The study concluded that the effects of puberty-blocking drugs may be permanent and disputed claims that they can be reversed.

Musk continued, “I promised to destroy the woke brain virus after that.”
Vivian Musk revealed that she was transgender in 2022. The Daily Mail reported that around the same time, the 18-year-old girl filed a request for her name to be changed from Xavier Musk to Vivian, and to take the last name of her mother.
Vivian stated at the time, “I do not want to be related in any shape or form to my biological dad.”
Musk’s promise to fight the “woke” Left likely influenced his decision to move SpaceX’s California headquarters to Texas after Gov. Gavin Newsom signed into law a bill that prohibits school districts from contacting parents when their child uses pronouns that are different than what is on the school record.
Musk explained his decision on X, a social media platform. SpaceX’s headquarters will move from Hawthorne in California to Starbase in Texas because of this law, and many others before it that attacked both families and businesses.
