Arkansas Police Arrest 13 After Riot Erupts at High School

After “several fighting” on Thursday at a high school, police in Arkansas made 13 arrests. This led to property damage.

According to the Little Rock Police Department, officers were dispatched to Hall STEAM Magnet High school on Thursday afternoon at 12.28 p.m. to investigate a disturbance call. Several fights had been going on when officers arrived. This led to property damage.

Twelve people were taken into custody for disorderly conduct, and one for inciting a riot.

According to police, one person was taken by ambulance to the local hospital with minor injuries.

FOX 16 was informed by the Little Rock School District that the school was temporarily locked down during the fights. This has now been lifted.

Officials at the school say that students involved in the fights will be subject to disciplinary action according to the school’s handbook and any legal consequences.
