The Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed Monday morning that Nathan Millard was found dead.

“Nathan Millard, 42 was found deceased this morning around 3:34 am in the 2900 block of Scenic Hwy. The cause of death is unknown at this time pending autopsy results,” BRPD said in a Monday Facebook post.

Millard, a father of five children and construction director from Georgia was last seen at Happy’s Irish Pub on February 23rd after attending a basketball game at Louisiana State University with a client.

Around 11:30 p.m., Millard left Happy’s to go back to his hotel room but never made it back, Millard’s high school friend, Matt Still, previously told Fox News.

Millard was staying at the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Baton Rouge, about a 2-minute walk from the bar where he was last seen.

Happy’s is approximately 7 minutes away from the location where Millard’s corpse was found.

“This is an ongoing investigation.” “As more information becomes available, additional information will be released,” BRPD stated.

The BRPD has not provided any additional information about Millard’s disappearance or death.

According to Still, Baton Rouge police showed Millard’s wife video footage showing someone using Millard’s credit card. They also said that the card had been used many times since Miller’s last sighting.

Texas EquuSearch founder Tim Miller stated that his team was helping with the search for Millard.
