Left-wing Georgetown University students protesting his speech at the Washington, D.C. campus on Wednesday night received a heart-pumping dose of truth from Mike Pence, former Vice President. Every word captured the attention of the crowd.

What’s The Deal?

Video from Young America’s Foundation — the conservative group that hosted Pence’s speech — shows dozens of students walking out of the room while Pence speaks and other students in the venue’s balcony unfurling a banner reading “reproductive rights are human rights,” Fox News reported.

Pence replied to the walkout by saying, “Seems like leaders after many years in Washington have never been more out of touch, more determined to impose an agenda — or walk off on anyone who might disagree.” ”

The crowd cheered and clapped after hearing the last zinger.

The walkout was even better. Fox News reported that YAF stated that the left-wing crowd had left to make way for students who wanted Pence’s message.

“Campus leftists thought they could successfully derail Vice President Mike Pence’s YAF-sponsored lecture by walking out and displaying signs promoting the left’s radical agenda,” YAF spokesperson Nick Baker told the cable network. “Within minutes, they were proven wrong. YAF easily filled the room to capacity with students legitimately interested in hearing Vice President Pence’s pro-freedom message.”

Fox News reported on Wednesday that a Pence representative didn’t immediately respond to the cable network’s request for comment. Pence tweeted a shout-out to attendees:

“Thank you @yaf & @GUPolitics! He wrote, “It was amazing to be at Georgetown tonight with so many young Americans!”

Anything Else?

Fox News reported Pence had stressed tolerance and called for civil discourse in his speech.

According to the cable network, Pence said that it was possible for someone to say that they have bad ideas, but not to call them a bad person. Pence believes that democracy depends on high levels of civility.

Fox News reported Pence was being questioned if he would vote for Donald Trump as president again in 2024.

According to cable television, he smiled, and said “Well, it might not be somebody else that you prefer more.”

“All of my attention has been focused on the midterm elections, and that will continue for twenty days. Fox News reported Pence saying, “But after this, we will be considering the future. ” “Ours and our country’s. I’ll keep you updated. “
