The White House found a report from the American Farm Bureau that stated that a Fourth of July cookout in America would cost 16 cents less than it did in 2020.
Planning a cookout this year? Ketchup on the news. According to the Farm Bureau, the cost of a 4th of July BBQ is down from last year. It’s a fact you must-hear(d). Hot dog, the Biden economic plan is working. And that’s something we can all relish. pic.twitter.com/7h9qLauIbC

“The Biden economic strategy is working” For that tone-deaf tweet, Biden was mocked by Twitter.
How do you plan on spending your 16 cents holiday stimulus money?

Spent $2T for the American Rescue Plan and all we got was 16 cents off potato chips. https://t.co/3YmPVuuXRr

The majority of Americans would be happy to pay the same price as last summer. Joe, how is your Fourth of July cookout going?
Spectator USA
Independence Day is just around the corner. However, this year’s Biden meal calculation is still available. It is less likely that the White House will be able to offer any type of savings through cookouts. According to Friday’s Consumer Price Index, uncooked ground beef prices rose 13.8 percent between May 2021 and May 2022. Porkchops saw an 11% increase, while ice cream saw a 9.6 percent raise. Cheese jumped 8.7 percent.
It’s good that we were able to save 16 cents last year. It helps to ease the pain that we are feeling this year.
Right?
Although it is not easy to calculate, the prices of pork, beans, lemonade, and potato chips rose. Unrelated pork products, such as canned vegetables, could use pork and beans. Lemonade could fall into the category of frozen noncarbonated beverages (5.7%), nonfrozen (10.9%), or other beverage material (7.2%). Most likely, potato chips will be included in the snack category (up 13.6%) or other miscellaneous food (12.6%).
Gas was $3.15 per gallon last July 4. It’s now at $5 per gallon, and it’s climbing. Are you sure any White House reporter will be able to point out that stupid tweet last year and ask the president his thoughts?
The Financial Review calculated a basket of groceries to be used for a cookout.
The price of strawberries has almost doubled to $US10 per two pints from $US5.30. A bag of eight hamburger buns costs $US3 compared to $US1.66 last year. Two pounds of boneless and skinless chicken breast cost $US11.98 compared to $US6.74. The Farm Bureau’s analysis revealed that a pound of sliced cheese cost $US4.32 versus $US4.05 at the time.
The prices of 10 items were higher than the others, while the rest were unchanged.
Certain products might have been more expensive if the buyer was not a member of the club.
Biden’s game of blame has taken an unexpected turn. Biden has chosen to blame Republicans, none of whom voted in his $2 trillion American Rescue Plan, which even Democratic experts like Larry Summers believe contributed to our current inflation.
The president will ultimately find the person responsible for inflation. He will assure us that it was Colonel Mustard, who is seated in the White House library equipped with a noose.
