The police in Michigan sought out an ATV driver for allegedly assaulting Trump supporters, including a man in the hospital. However, officers discovered him dead after he confessed to them.
The Daily Mining Gazette reported that police in Hancock, Mich. were searching for an ATV operator they suspected of “politically-motivated crimes” over the weekend. One incident involved an elderly man who was so severely injured that he was still in critical condition on Monday. This could mean that the attack turned into murder. The police later discovered the person believed to be the ATV driver, dead. They labeled it as a suicide.
MLive reports that the Houghton County Sheriff’s Office reported that a man called them on Monday and confessed to a crime committed with an ATV. The man requested that the police “send me someone to pick up” but he was already deceased when the officers arrived.
Police found a 22-year-old man dead in a house in Quincy Township. He had died from a self-inflicted single gunshot. Police obtained a search warrant and began searching the home of the 22-year-old man. The police found numerous electronic devices, including the ATV that was believed to be used in the attack on Sunday. Investigators found clothing that matched the clothes worn by the suspects in the incident.
It is possible that this story was a case of a mental patient going on one last, maniacal rampage before taking his own life. This story is unlikely to be covered by mainstream media.
The Daily Mining Gazette explains about the reported crime.
Around 5:45 pm, a person driving an all-terrain car drove onto the yard of the 1600 block of Anthony Street and ran over a man aged 80 who was posting an election sign in his yard. Police believe the driver intended to harm.
The man was taken to hospital with severe injuries. Police said in a press release that he was in critical health condition on Monday.
The suspect is believed to have targeted Donald Trump supporters and law enforcement.
Two other vandalism incidents occurred.
It is no surprise that this comes right after the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. As usual, it appears that the federal government is targeting victims rather than the problem.
Steve Friend, an FBI whistleblower, tweeted last week: “Little birds are telling me that there is more concern within the IC about ‘right-wing’ violence in response to the Trump attack than the actual attack.” It’s likely something Congress should look into. On Tuesday he said, “More and more of my @FBI spies are confirming.” Their joint terrorism teams are almost exclusively focused on anonymous tips regarding a “right-wing” response to the failed attempt at assassination.”
