Have Christians been treated with respect by mainstream media in the last few years?

Hollywood has a tendency to make Christianity look disgraceful, so you will only recall a handful of instances.

This trope is so old it almost feels like seeing a wild unicorn. It has been relegated to a mere artistic expression.

Rainn Wilson is most well-known for his role as “Dwight” in “The Office”.

Wilson was on HBO Max’s “The Last of Us” when he saw another example of antichristian bias media. They use scripture as a justification for their atrocities.

Wilson tweeted about the exhausted trope.

Wilson tweeted that he believed Hollywood has an anti-Christian bias. Wilson tweeted, “I think there is an anti-Christian bias in Hollywood.”

After his tweet got picked up by Fox News, Wilson did some damage control by hating on the network a bit and making it clear he’s not even a Christian. He also wanted to go the extra mile to point out that Christian activists are creating division in society, but he did double down on how good Christian people are.

“But most Christians that I know are kind, accepting, loving, and seeking to make the world a better place. They should also be honored in the media,” tweeted Wilson.

Wilson may not be an expert on Christians but his comments are a testament to his courage. Wilson will not be forgotten or forgiven by the very angry internet.

Wilson’s mentions will continue for at least a few days more, I believe. He’ll get lots of positive responses for going beyond Hollywood’s accepted boundaries.

It would have been great to see Christians in real life, not as Hollywood makes it seem.

They don’t have to be seen as meek or pious. They are able to act in any way necessary to protect others.

Hollywood should make an action film where the lead character is a Christian.

We need more “Book of Eli” types.
