The latest mishap of President Joe Biden on stage has raised concerns among Republicans about the president. Some have renewed their request for Biden to undergo a cognitive test.

Biden was speaking at a White House conference when he asked “Where’s Jackie?” referring to the late Rep. Jackie Walorski, R-IN, who died in August. Fox News reports that the latest gaffe was not the first.

Jackson stated, “It doesn’t take a neurologist to see that he’s in serious cognitive decline.” The American people are aware of what’s happening and don’t believe the commander-in-chief is capable of performing his duties. It is past time for the White House staff to stop avoiding questions about his mental acuity, and for liberal media to demand that he answer my request for a cognitive test.

Since his arrival at the White House in July, Biden has made many gaffes. One example was when he apparently read out loud from a teleprompter during a speech. Rep. Greg Murphy (R.NC), a practicing surgeon who is vice chairman of the GOP Doctors Caucus said to the outlet that these “kinds and senseless gaffes are now par for the course for this President.”

Karine Jean-Pierre, White House Press Secretary, claimed Walorski was “top in mind” for the president when Biden made that mistake. He also stated that he was calling food security “congressional champions”, and acknowledging her “incredible work”. Ted Cruz (Republican from Texas) claimed that the president’s “diminished capability” as demonstrated by his latest gaffe was “so blatantly obvious that even White House Press Corps couldn’t conceal their concern.”

Walorski was killed in a car accident on Aug. 3. Biden released a statement saying that he and Jill Biden were “shocked” and “saddened” by her death.

On Friday, the president will honor Walorski by signing a bill to rename an Indiana Veterans Affairs Clinic in her memory.
