As we reported previously, Roe V. Wade was overturned by the US Supreme Court in what has been one of the most significant and impactful stories of the past 50 years. The draft decision, which was leaked and caused outrage over the past few months, has been made official. States now have the power to regulate abortion in any way they choose. This is a step toward respecting human life and fundamental morality that we haven’t seen since the abolishment of slavery.
It is difficult to emphasize how important this day is for all those who have worked so hard to protect unborn babies lives. This doesn’t prohibit abortion in the United States, but it does allow for states and local representatives to stop being told by the federal government that they can legalize or support this barbarism.
BREAKING — Supreme Court: “The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives.”https://t.co/kXoHcQTzGt pic.twitter.com/kuflfXdsAr

While those who support life are celebrating, those who view abortion as a religious rite of passage are furious. The laughter quickly turned into hysteria, so grab your popcorn to enjoy the show.
Our Founding Fathers designed government to prevent the tyranny of the majority. They did not contemplate the possibility of tyranny of the minority.

My mother spent many years fighting for women’s right to choose. Tragically, now my daughter will be born without that right. But that fight begins again today and I believe it will succeed.

Maybe someone smarter than I can see how “this will harm poor women” could be a valid argument for the killing and dismemberment of babies in the womb. But that is the primary reaction we are likely to get from this decision. It is also one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen online: using one’s unborn daughter to advocate the idea that she should be allowed to be killed in the womb.
But here we are. These reactions are only going to get worse, and nightfall is when the real danger starts. I hope that cities across the country are prepared. This isn’t going to be a matter of taking it lightly. The left has made no secret of that fact. The Biden administration will treat violence coming from the streets with child gloves, too. While I am happy that this decision was made, and would not trade it for anything, I also recognize the dangers of things going bad.
