Trump Attorneys Spill the Beans on Issues With FBI Raid, Warrant

Now, President Donald Trump’s attorneys are revealing some details about the FBI raid on his home and search warrant.

Alina Habba, Trump’s attorney, appeared on Fox News with Jesse Watters. Habba stated that they had been working with the National Archives to obtain the records. She declared that this was totally “unconstitutional.” She claimed that the FBI entered her home without him being present and told his lawyers to leave. She declared, “That doesn’t sound good to us.”

Habba stated that the agents arrived wearing backpacks and were concerned they might have planted anything since they were trying to get the attorneys out. Habba stated that she believed all of this was part of an effort to bring down Trump and that people were working in tandem with other efforts.

Habba said, “There’s more to the world than people realize.” She stated that if he was not ahead in the polls, it wouldn’t be happening. She stated, “I don’t trust the government and that’s a very frightening thing for me as an American.” This is Cuban third-world stuff. This is not our country.”

Watters inquired about the warrant. Habba replied that the warrant was not given to the attorneys on the ground during the raid. They were allowed to view it.

Here’s Christina Bobb, Trump attorney on Real America’s Voice. She was the one who was present. She explained that the warrant was initially not available to her, but they eventually allowed it. They were reluctant to give it to her. She doesn’t say if they were eventually able to get it. She explained that the probable cause of the warrant was sealed so they don’t know what it was unless the court ordered it.

She confirmed it was the Presidential Records Act. The host stated that this law has never been prosecuted. This is one of many reasons why the “rationale” to seize documents at Trump’s house is absurd. She also said that they were searching for classified documents. Ironically, Trump is the one who decides what is a presidential record. She explained that it was unclear why they were allowed to define that and why they could search for warrants to find the warrant. “It doesn’t make sense,” she added. The same applies to any classified information.

This is absurd because of how different they treat Hillary Clinton. Her home was not raided and she has not pursued her emails or classified documents.

Bobb told RSBN that it was totally unusual to pursue a former President in this manner — that Hillary Clinton even took furniture from the White House after the Clintons left. She just received an email to return the items.

As I mentioned in my Trump family reaction story and on top of the statements made by the attorneys, the FBI wanted to turn off the Mar-a-Lago security camera while they conducted their raid. Why? One thing that can be gathered is that they didn’t want the camera to capture what they were doing.

There are many things to worry about when it comes to overreaching.
