Ian Garry, a UFC Welterweight Fighter, challenges Colby Covington for a fight. Covington is well-known to UFC fans for his unabashed support of former president Donald Trump.

Garry revealed this during an interview with “The MMA Hour” about his possible fight against Covington.

If Trump is in attendance, I’ll drag Colby up in front of Trump and beat him to death. I’ll be like, “This is what YOU created!” Boom! This is MAGA-Boom! It’s gone.

Covington has not replied to Garry. It is unknown if he would accept Garry’s challenge for a UFC fight. Covington’s record in MMA is 17 wins, 4 losses and 12 wins and 3 losses. In the UFC, he has a similar record with 12 wins and 3 losses. Garry, on the other hand, is undefeated with 14 wins and zero defeats.

Trump is likely to be present if Covington accepts the fight with Garry. He has been attending UFC shows more often.

Trump recently met UFC star Sean Strickland at a Nevada meeting.

Garry said that UFC CEO Dana White would ensure the fight will take place.

I don’t think he [Covington] is in a position where he can pick and choose fights right now. If he wants a fight, he will do as he is told. Hunter and Dana are sure to tell him this.

Garry replied:

I am a fighter that says yes. I’m not picky, I’m not a snob. I answer ‘Yes. Where? When?’ That’s it. Truthfully, I choose who I want. Colby is by far the most famous name in the division. It’s not enough to beat him. I’m not saying anything bad about him. The MMA community has a great deal of respect for his name.

After Covington lost to Leon Edwards on Fox News, he said that he wanted a rematch.

You know, you may have broken your foot by kicking his elbow in the first thirty seconds of the fight. I would like to rematch this guy. I will come back stronger. I am just like Americans. We never give up. You can knock us down but we only learn. We never lose; we only learn. We come back stronger.

Garry may have to wait a while before he gets what he wants. The rematch between Covington vs Edwards is still not set.

Trump is popular among UFC fans. They often give him standing ovations when he enters an arena.
