Vivek Ramaswamy, a former GOP presidential candidate and entrepreneur, confirms he will attend the debate in Atlanta between former President Donald Trump (left) and President Joe Biden on Thursday.
Ramaswamy explained Trump’s unification plan:
President Trump will unite the country in a new way. Success unifies, excellence unifies, and so fixing our border crisis, and growing our economy, aren’t just policy solutions. They are steps towards reuniting America.
He also said that he thinks the CNN debate will take place in a 3-on-1 format:
I will be there with him, and I am looking forward to the trip. But I am confident that he has led this country well. He led it in its first two years in battling a Russia-collusion hoax as well as an impeachment sham. Make no mistake, if he can do this, he will be able to handle himself in a 3-on-1 discussion. But I am confident that President Trump can still handle himself when he is debating with three people and not just one.

Ramaswamy spoke with John Berman on CNN Wednesday morning about the debate that will take place Thursday.
He said:
I told President Trump, and I will tell you too, that I give Donald Trump credit for agreeing to a Fox News debate in Alabama, with 3,000 live audience members. That would be the equivalent of Joe Biden accepting a debate hosted by CNN in Atlanta, without a live crowd. You have to be able to show up if you want to lead the nation. And that’s what Donald Trump is doing.
I give President Trump a lot of credit for agreeing to do a debate on these terms: hosted by CNN, in Atlanta, without a live audience, is the equivalent of Biden agreeing to a debate hosted by Fox News in front of an audience of 3,000 people in Alabama. pic.twitter.com/NwXNB0KXMn

Why is this newsworthy? Trump announced that his Vice Presidential nominee will be in Atlanta for the debate.
Ramaswamy will not be the only person at the watch party. Doug Burgum, Dr. Ben Carson, and Sens. Marco Rubio, R-FL, and J.D. Vance (R OH), are also possible candidates.
When asked by @NBCNews whether he’d had any conversations with former President Trump about his VP pick, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum did not respond:@JillianFrankel: “Have you had any conversations with him this week about vice president?

Doug Burgum 5/2
J.D. Vance 4/1
Ben Carson 4/1
Marco Rubio 6/1
Tim Scott 8/1
Byron Donalds 11/1
Elise Stefanik 14/1
Sarah H. Sanders 14/1
Tulsi Gabbard 20/1

Trump would choose someone who hasn’t been mentioned in a while and the person people least expect.
