According to a report from Ukraine, the Russians are having difficulties with their war in Ukraine. This shows how unhappy their troops might be about the current situation.
According to Ukrainian journalist Roman Tsimbalyuk, a Russian soldier behind the wheel of the tank blamed Medvedev for the deaths of his friends. Tsimbalyuk said that the unit had lost about half its strength due to death or injury. “Having waited for the right moment, during battle, he [the Russian soldier] ran over the commander with a tank as he stood next to him, injuring both his legs,” Tsimbalyuk explained. He said that the injured officer had been taken to a hospital in Belarus.
While the Russians didn’t confirm the incident, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov (who is helping Putin in the war) released a video allegedly showing a wounded Medvedev being taken to a hospital.
Daily Mail: An official claims that Colonel Medvedev died from losses sustained by his brigade. This is a glimpse into the moral issues facing the Russian forces. According to the official, the colonel had been seen being run over and killed by a tank. They said they believed that he was deliberately killed by his troops.
Roman Tsimbalyuk is a Ukrainian journalist who claims Medvedev was a Russian soldier who drove that tank. Tsimbalyuk claimed the officer was taken to a Belarusian hospital.
Warning: tweet contains coarse language.
Ukrainian journalist Roman Tsymbaliuk: A Russian soldier ran over his commanding officer, Colonel Yuri Medvedev, with his tank “to protest the huge number of losses they have suffered”. Putin’s in deep sh*t if his soldiers are turning on their commanders. pic.twitter.com/noGHVx0rPz

On Friday, he died.
We acknowledge receipt of this report but we have yet to confirm it.
Russia has suffered huge losses in this field. Streiff (my colleague) reported earlier that Russians had released a Friday death toll of 5,201. This is unlikely to be true. NATO estimates this week’s death count to have been between 15,000 to 7,000.
Komsomolskaya Pravda reported Tuesday that a Russian party paper published casualty reports citing the Russian Ministry of Defense. However, they later retracted the account, claiming that the newspaper was “hacked.” ” ”
My colleague has already spoken out about how Russia saw its most senior military officers be dismissed. Lt. Gen. Yakov Resantsev is another.
Russian two-stars-general Yakov Rezantsev reportedly eliminated by Ukrainian strike on infamous Chirobayevka airfield at Kherson, HQ of Russian 49th army. Resantsev was a commander of 49th army. If true: this is the 6th RU general and the 2nd two-stars RU general KIA in Ukraine. pic.twitter.com/WTFgISUEZP

Presumably, this is Lieutenant General Yakov Rezantsev whom Ukrainian officials claimed was killed near Kherson airport. Rezantsev is a DVOKU graduate and is the commander of the Southern Military District’s 49th Combined Army Army.https://t.co/Fyfarc6Lw5https://t.co/MwttB050Sf https://t.co/QzO5B1K1l7 pic.twitter.com/8Z01bPSUF2

Resantsev was shot and killed at the Chornobayevka Airfield. It was misspelled in the tweet. He was the second, 2-star General who was murdered in Ukraine.
According to reports, 20 of the 120 Russian battalions Putin assembled for the war are no longer active. This confirms the demoralization of Russian troops.
