Dems Wasted Gobs of Cash on Losers Beto and Stacey

The biggest midterm winner was not John Fetterman, Joe Biden, or Ron DeSantis. The true winner was ActBlue, the Democrats’ fundraising platform. It processes all donations for candidates from the presidential race to the city council elections.

ActBlue’s website states that they are “the best place to do progressive fundraising.” Donors love to store their data with us because they can easily give it to all their favorite candidates or organizations with a single click.

They are the most popular Dems donation processor, receiving 3.95% of all donations to Democrats. This is a substantial amount considering how much the party spent on Stacey Abrams and Beto O’Rourke, two of its most vulnerable candidates.

The Washington Free Beacon:

Democrats spent almost $200 million on perennial losers Beto and Stacey Abrams, money that did not make their gubernatorial campaigns against Republican incumbents competitive.

ActBlue made $7.9 Million from the gobs and gobs of cash that the Dems spent on subpar candidates Beto & Stacey.

The party decided that a gun-control-loving, awkward Tik Tok dancer was the right candidate for Texas governor. He was awarded over $77 million.

Stacey Abrams is another advocate for abortion, which she believes is the best way to combat inflation for families. According to the Free Beacon, she raised over $100 million.

O’Rourke and Abrams’s impressive fundraising hauls were despite their high-profile statuses as losers. Abrams lost to Kemp by 1.5 points in 2018, which she refused to accept and called “stolen and rigged.” O’Rourke lost by 2 points to Senator Ted Cruz (R. Texas). O’Rourke raised $80million in that race. This was the largest amount raised for a U.S. Senate Campaign at the time.

ActBlue is not the real story, it’s the hypocrisy and greed of the left who are happy to criticize others for putting their money toward their own interests. Remember when Elon Musk bought Twitter? The left was just upset that he used $44 billion of his own money instead to end world hunger. Despite the fact Musk paid $11 million in taxes for 2021, it funded the Democrats’ favorite charity: the federal government.

Democrats love to spend their money on media darlings that dazzle their base but fail to connect with the voters. Isn’t it better to spend the money they spent on Stacey and Beto solving hunger around the world? This is a question we must ask.

The GOP should heed the lesson learned on both sides of the aisle last night: the loudest sound bit doesn’t always resonate the best. Beto O’Rourke and Stacey Abrams always joked candidates, but Democrats have proven their fundraising prowess and willingness to fill the coffers of the weakest players on their team. Republicans can combat that by running serious races with serious candidates, their donors need to be willing to open their wallets to fund these efforts.

ActBlue, on the other hand, is having a great time laughing all the way to the bank.
