Kari Lake’s Legal Team Finds 42.5 Percent of Ballots Examined Were Invalid

Kari Lake, Arizona Republican Gubernatorial Candidate stated on Wednesday, “After reviewing 113 randomly selected ballots in November’s election, 48 (or 42.5%) were found to be invalid due to 19-inch ballots printed on 20-inch papers.” This is a pretty absurd error in such a technological world. What size ballot is correct? You can’t get the ballot in a different size, right?

Lake was defeated by Katie Hobbs, Democrat Secretary-of-State in November’s election by 18,000 votes less than a total of more than 2.5 million votes.

We reported that Maricopa County Superior Judge Peter Thompson tossed out eight of the ten claims made by Lake in his December 9 lawsuit, but left two unaffected. These claims claim that officials plotted to influence the election favoring Hobbs. Thompson ordered a trial lasting two days, which began Wednesday.

Azcentral explains the remaining charges:

A Maricopa County election official deliberately caused the ballot-on-demand printers to malfunction on Election Day. This resulted in enough votes being lost to endanger her campaign.

Runbeck Election Services employees, the county’s contractor for ballots, added illegal ballots of relatives. Any failure of the county to keep a proper chain in custody was “both intentional and did in fact result in a different outcome.”

Lake claimed that the ballots that were incorrectly sized caused havoc and these errors weren’t an accident.

My co-worker reported that Lake spoke at Turning Point USA AmFest last weekend and was excited about her legal prospects.

We received great news yesterday: we are putting these bastards on trial.

I am so happy. As you know, I ran against Katie Hobbs here against Joe Biden. Basement Hobbs. She did not participate in the debate but cannot avoid taking part in the trial. She will be required to stand. Katie Hobbs will have to take the Bible to her mouth and swear the truth. It might be difficult. This might be difficult. Stephen Richer is also going to be there, and they will have to swear to the truth. Perjury is a crime, and I want to remind them.

It does not seem that Hobbs will be taking the stand. Lake’s lawyers announced later that they had withdrawn their subpoena to Hobbs for her testimony.

Although the trial was adjourned, we were able to witness Scott Jarrett, Maricopa County Elections Director, act as if the irregularities in November’s polls were not a big deal.

We are still developing this story and will keep you informed. In the meantime, couldn’t a child do better than this?
