Marjorie Taylor Greene Slams Biden: Capitol Fencing Installed ‘in Dead of Night’ for SOTU

Joe Biden’s apologists managed to manage expectations for his performance in Thursday’s State of the Union Address. They told voters that Biden’s ability to speak two coherent sentences and leaning into the Dark Brandon memes with a wooden stance are proof that the President is still fit to lead the nation at the age of 81.

Biden’s words and silence during his SOTU will be a hot topic for many Americans, especially after the tragic death of Georgia nursing student Laken R. Riley, 22, allegedly by illegal immigrant Jose Antonio Ibarra, 26.

Riley’s murder sparked a nationwide outcry, rekindling the debate about the Biden border crisis. His critics pointed to Riley’s case as one of many, where illegal immigrants took advantage of Biden’s lax policy, as well as sanctuary cities run by Democrats, and ended up harming people.

Biden is yet to mention Riley’s name and the Biden White House refuses to confirm whether he will refer to her in his speech on Thursday night, even though the GOP-led House passed an illegal immigration law – the Laken Riley Act, in her honor – with 170 House Democrats opposing it.

This has been a source of frustration for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., who shared a video of the Biden White House putting up a fence “in the middle of the night” around the Capitol Building in preparation for his speech to the nation. However, the fence still will not secure our borders.

Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Wis., was also one of those who called out hypocrisy.

It’s amazing, isn’t it? It’s almost like pulling teeth just to get them to acknowledge that there is a crisis. And when they do, it’s to blame Republicans. In the meantime, members of Congress, President Obama, and his staff can secure the Capitol Building perimeter in just a few hours.

The message is clear: I’m going to be safe, but you’re not. It’s a horrible look made even worse by the Democrats’ cruel and savage indifference towards the plights of Laken Riley, and other women like her, who might still be alive if Democrats had cared more for keeping Americans safe rather than pandering to the Latino/Hispanic votes.
