Rashida Tlaib Throws Support to Group That Rioted Against Police in Atlanta and Faces Charges of Domestic Terrorism

Over the past year, we’ve seen Democrats try to escape their “defund police” mantra. Now that the election has ended, the leftist wing is back in full force with their antipolice rhetoric.

Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), and Rep. Rashida Talaib (D-MI), went further with their anti-police tweets about the Atlanta Antifa shooting, where an “activist”, allegedly shot a cop before being shot and killed by police.

Bush referred to a claim by Manuel “Tortuguita,” Teran’s family, that Teran was “assassinated with cold blood,” because Teran was allegedly non-binary.

Tlaib also echoed the call and demanded justice for Tortuguita. I stand with the forest protectors in their fight against Cop City.

There is no evidence that the shoot was not a good one. The police have always been transparent with them and made consistent statements about the matter since the beginning. Bush promotes this lie against police. The investigation continues. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the matter. They have confirmed that Teran legally bought the gun and that the bullets match the injuries sustained by the officer. This sounds very open and shut.

Tlaib claims that the radical “forest protector” group has been “righteously combating Cop City”, but in reality, they have been illegally occupying property not theirs. Since months, they’ve been violently involved in actions against police officers and residents. They have been charged with domestic terroristic acts in multiple instances. In May, the group allegedly threw Molotov cocktails at police officers. Then in December, when the police attempted to remove them from their vehicle, they were discovered with explosives. A “gas bomb” was also thrown at a car by the group. The victim claimed that he was fortunate to be alive.

The shooting ensued, in which Teran allegedly injured the officer.

What was the group’s response? Let’s threaten police and demand a “night on the rage” of violence against police officers.

Antifa rioters attacked the Atlanta Police Foundation and set fire to a police car.

Here’s what a related Twitter account posted about another attack in Portland, Oregon. It also says that Tortuguita tried to kill a police officer.

Another account threatened other cops with “Fire to Earth Destroyers” until every cop was dead, and then all that they defend would be burned to ashes.

This is the group Rashida Tlaib calls “righteously fighting Cop City”.

I will also mention that the child of Rep. Katherine Clark (D.MA), the House Democratic whip Rep was taken into custody and charged with assaulting an officer in the aftermath of the shooting. Jared “Riley”, 23, was supporting the Atlanta group by removing graffiti from a Boston monument with the words “Stop Cop City” or “ACAB” (All Cops are Bastards). About 20 members of the group tried to block the police from arresting him. A cop was also injured. Dowell was charged for assault with a dangerous weapon, destruction of personal property or injury, and damage to property by graffiti/tagging.

This is the group Democrats support.
