Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) is one of the few politicians being honest about the irresponsible House spending deal and the disastrous Senate border deal.

Even with a Republican majority, the House has done little.

As Biggs noted, a government shutdown would only affect non-essential expenditures.

Biggs wrote, on Twitter/X on Jan. 14, “Don’t be fooled. A shutdown of the government is a pause in non-essential expenses. I believe that all non-essential spending should be halted until our border is secured. ”

Fox News explains the border deal that was negotiated between Senator James Lankford (R-OK) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY). The deal would allow for 5,000 immigrants to enter America every day, increase the number of green cards by 50% per year, and give immediate work permits to all illegals released from custody (70-90%). Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) both criticized the agreement. Gaetz called the agreement a nightmare, and Paul called it an act of sellout. Biggs agreed.

Biggs stated that the Schumer and Lankford “border agreement” was for illegal aliens only, not Americans. Later, he added, “Zero.” “This is the maximum amount of illegal immigrants that can be accepted each month. Congress must wake up. ”

Biggs said that the Americans told him they wanted to close the border, even if the government shut down. The Americans have had enough of the border crisis that Biden caused. They want to be heard, not Washington’s elites. This would be a welcome change.

Biggs is right, but the majority of people lack common sense.
