The campaign of former President Donald Trump is enlisting several pop-culture allies to show their support for the Republican National Convention, which will be held in Milwaukee next weekend.
Savannah Chrisley, a TV personality from the reality show “Chrisley Knows Best” about her family, is among those who will attend.
A source said that Chrisley will be the star of the Tuesday night programming for the campaign, which is themed “Make America Safe Again”.
RNC: The RNC stated that the day would focus on the “woke, soft-on-crime and open border policies” of President Joe Biden. The RNC said that speakers and events would focus on crimes committed by migrants and drug overdoses, as well as the protection of officers.
Trump’s campaign, in recent months, has been promoting public support by celebrities and influencers, as part of its attempt to gain support from voters. This includes inviting rappers and hip-hop artists to rallies, to court Black votes.
Chrisley’s inclusion comes at a time when she is dedicating more time to advocating criminal justice reform, as her parents, Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley serve time in prison.
They were sentenced to nearly 19 years of prison for charges such as fraud and tax evasion.
Todd Chrisley has been sentenced to 12 years in a federal minimum security prison camp located in Pensacola Florida. This will be followed by 3 years of supervised parole. Julie Chrisley, who was sentenced to seven years in prison, will now be sent back to lower courts for charges of fraud and tax evasion, according to recent rulings.
Chrisley’s face is not new to the Republican Party. She spoke about the legal problems of her parents at the Conservative Political Action Conference, held in Washington, D.C., early this year.
Chrisley, who is a Trump supporter, posted pictures of her with Trump to her social media accounts after Trump was convicted in the New York case of hush money payments. She said, “It’s undeniably an important day for everyone who believes in fairness and justice, including his supporters.”
Amber Rose, a rapper and model from Milwaukee is also scheduled to speak at the Republican National Convention. The celebrity confirmed this on X last week: “It’s true! I’m a speaker at the Republican National Convention #MAGA in Milwaukee.
Rose became famous for organizing the Los Angeles ‘SlutWalk,’ a movement aimed at eradicating the shaming of women and blaming those who are victims of sexual abuse and rape. In 2008, she made her debut in public when she began dating rapper Ye (formerly known as Kanye West).
In May, she posted a photo on Instagram with Trump and his spouse endorsing the former President.
A campaign official confirmed that UFC President Dana White will also be speaking on Thursday, the same day Trump is scheduled to speak. Both have had a long and close relationship. The former president is a UFC fan and often sits ringside at fights with White and other celebrities.
White most recently helped Trump launch his TikTok after a UFC event. The post received millions of likes in the popular platform aimed at younger generations.
The Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office reports that several celebrities have accompanied Trump on his campaign trail in the last year. This included a South Bronx rally in May, where the former President invited two Bronx rappers on stage, Sheriff G, and Sleepy Hallow. Both had been indicted for an alleged murder plot involving two Brooklyn-based gangs.
According to the district prosecutor’s office, these two men were part of a 32-member gang that was charged with 140 counts. These included conspiracy to murder, assault, and criminal possession. The two men have pleaded guilty.
Social media posts reveal that rapper Azealia attended Trump’s golf course rally in Doral, Florida on Tuesday night. She told The Standard in November of last year that she would vote for him because “He has been through how many bankruptcies? How many wives have you had? How many TV shows? “Nothing can bring him down.
Trump, who has held the titles of businessman, reality television host, and celebrity, is hailed as the pop-culture president. He took a more unconventional route to the White House, having previously been a businessman.
Roseanne Barr, a comedian, and Lee Greenwood, a country singer are two other celebrities who have either endorsed Trump’s campaign or joined him on the road.
