Charlamagne Tha god, who is actually Lenard McKelvey and a media personality, praised Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for sending two planes of illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard. He even advised DeSantis as well as Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R), on what they could do “expose more the hypocrisy by the Democrats”.
Charlamagne made the comments during an episode of Comedy Central’s “Hell of a Week” and said that he thought it was “genius” that Democrats should “expose Democrats’ hypocrisy by sending migrants to their regions.”
Last week, DeSantis’s office confirmed that the governor had sent the migrants to Martha’s Vineyard under the state’s “relocation plan to transport illegal immigrants into sanctuary destinations.”
According to the official, the Florida Legislature had authorized $12 million for a program that would facilitate illegal immigrants’ transportation from the state. This is consistent with federal law.
